This week we had a visit from Wilder Schools. We had the opportunity to plant some new trees on our school field.
This week in DT we have been learning how to create moving parts using split pins
This week we have been making our volcanoes! We even got to do an experiment with them.
This week in Maths we have been learning about measurements. We used a big meter ruler to measure objects around our school.
We had a visit from City Mission and we learnt all about angles and why they are important to Christians. We then designed our own boxes and wrote messages to loved ones inside
For First Aid day we were learning about bites and stings and how to help people
In Maths we have been learning about symmetry and using mirrors to work out if there are any lines of symmetry in different shapes
In Computing we have been learning how to use a coding programme called Scratch
This week we have been using compass directions to identify cities in the UK
This week we have been learning about the human body and all of our bones
This week we finished our celebrate based on our book 'The Stone Age Boy'

We have also been doing some music with some percussion instruments.
