Use these links to practise your phonics. In class we read real and fake words to make sure we are using our phonics to decode words we don't know.
The documents below contain words and sentences using all the phonics sounds and tricky words we have learnt in year 1. Your child should be able to have a good go at reading them - it will be really good practice for them. Many of the worksheets are the ones we have used with the children so they should be familiar.
