Drop off at the infant gates at 8.50am.
Please collect your child from the infant gates at 2.40pm.
Well done to all of the children that earned a certificate for reading 3 times at home this week! They have helped us to start collecting children on the alien reading display. The class with the most children on the display at the end of term will get an in class reward.
This week in phonics we have been learning the sounds i, n, m, d. We have been beginning to practise to push the sounds in words together to read. Ask me to read the words below....

In maths this week we have been working out what makes 3 using blocks. For example 2 + 1 = 3, 1 + 1 + 1 = 3. We have started to learn what the add symbol (+) and the equals symbol (=) look like.
Our topic this week is 'Under the sea'. We have been learning about the story 'The Rainbow Fish'.
We discussed the emotions throughout the story 'The Rainbow Fish'.
We have been learning about Autumn.
We have been planting!
A homework activity will be sent home today, please check book bags.
