Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday:

This week we are writing our story. On Monday we will write the beginning - a sentence that introduces the characters and setting. I.e., Three scary skeletons lived in a creepy cottage. There was mummy, daddy and cat skeleton.

 

On Tuesday we will write the middle - what happened in the story?

I.e., The skeletons wanted to scare some people so they went for a trip to the dark dark farm!

 

On Wednesday we will write the end - 

There was nobody to scare so the three skeletons went back to the dark dark house.

 

Remember, the focus on on segmenting the words and using the phonics sounds we have learnt to represent those sounds - the spellings won't always be correct but should be phonetically plausable.
