At Mansbridge Primary School, we are committed to protecting the environment and empowering our pupils to be responsible global citizens.  We believe that small, everyday actions can make a big difference to our local, national and global communities.

We focus our efforts on:

• Conserving energy and reducing our carbon footprint
• Minimising waste by recycling, reusing materials and cutting down on single-use plastics
• Promoting active travel such as walking, scooting and cycling safely to school
• Enhancing biodiversity through gardening, tree planting and outdoor learning in our school grounds
• Educating our children so they feel inspired to care for the natural world around us

Have a look at our climate action plan report from 2025-2026.  We are very proud of everything we achieved!  We reduced our energy usage, we enhanced the biodiversity of our school grounds, and we thought about ways to reduce waste.  We had a very productive year!
